Join the City of Mississauga as we celebrate the awesome urban forests that keep our city healthy and happy.
A series of events, giveaways and tours are planned to give you the opportunity to learn more about our natural heritage system and take action to protect our woodlands.

Get involved
Forestry Fall Festival
Saturday, September 20
Erindale Park, 1695 Dundas St W
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Celebrate the start of National Forest Week at this free, family-friendly event! Activities include: goat grazing, Wild Ontario raptor show, Scales Nature Park turtle show, wagon rides with Fairytale
Horse Carriages, guided nature walks, tree and wildflower giveaway, face painting and craft table, bouncy castle, photo wall with Forrest the Mascot, informational booths, and more.
Rain date: Saturday, September 27 (same time and location).
Tree planting events
Help us add more trees towards the City’s goal of planting one million trees by joining a tree planting event at a local park. Advance registration is required.
