Call for Poet Performers for Poetry Slam — March 15 to April 5
Calling all youth poets, creative writers and literary enthusiasts! Submit your work for a chance to perform at the City of Mississauga’s Poetry Slam. We’re looking to bring together youth aged 14 to 24 with a passion for spoken word poetry. Join us at the Living Arts Centre’s RBC Theatre on April 24 to share your poem and recognize the talent of young writers in our City.
Share Your Poem — April 1 to April 30
Copy your favourite poem or create a new one for others to read. Then add it to one of the display boards at all library locations throughout April.
