Creative Zone
10 am-4 pm
Drop-in crafts all day including corner bookmarks, superhero masks, create a comic, comic collage bookmarks, and more. Until supplies last.

Maker Lounge
10 am-4 pm
Drop-in and discover equipment and technology available through the Mississauga Library! Join us from 2-3 pm to use the button maker.

Costume Creation Station
10:30 am-11:30 am
Design a superhero costume to wear in the costume parade.

Come show off your costumes at MCX in a parade around the convention!

Sketch Challenge
11 am-11:30 am | All Ages
Three comic artists, Jey Pawlik, Ricky Lima, and Zi Chen, have 20 minutes to sketch characters selected by the audience.

Character Design
12 pm-1 pm | Ages 8+
Learn how to draw comic characters with a comic artist.

Mazie Lovie is an illustrator and cartoonist from London, Ontario. She enjoys making silly art with a deeper meaning, and makes comics in a variety of styles and genres. Her debut graphic novel memoir, The Lucky Poor, will be released in March.

Creating Comic Anthologies and Fanzines
1:30 pm-2:30 pm | Ages 13+
Learn the ins and outs of running your very own comic anthology or fanzine with Jey Pawlik. Discover the best ways to keep all your art, artists and pages organized, and get your book out into the world.

Sketch Challenge
3 pm-3:30 pm | All Ages
Three comic artists, Adam Gorham, Angela Poon, and Joy San, have 20 minutes to sketch characters selected by the audience.
