The Great Maple Syrup Slurp Up
12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
No one loves maple syrup as much as Russell…that is…no one on Earth! What starts off as an ordinary breakfast turns into an alien abduction, and the extraterrestrial wants more than just a sample. Every single drop of Earth’s maple syrup is in jeopardy of being “slurped up”. The Great Maple Syrup Slurp Up is a puppet show for kids and has an interactive climax to the story that will immerse everyone in the family. Help Russell save our precious maple syrup by any means necessary because let’s face it, pancakes just don’t taste quite right without it.
Exclusive event for March 11 and 12 only:
Learn about Indigenous maple sugaring traditions from Elder Mark Sault of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, who will provide storytelling and traditional Anishinaabe teachings about the maple harvest over an outdoor fire pit.
