Art Hubs are dedicated spaces designed to host the City’s digital, visual and performing arts programs. These spaces have specialized equipment for various classes, including drawing, digital design, glass blowing, jewellery-making, painting, photography, pottery and ceramics, wood working and more.

Burnhamthorpe Community Centre
The Art Hub at the Burnhamthorpe Community Centre features a visual arts studio in the Program Room.

Hazel McCallion Central Library
The Art Hub at Hazel McCallion Central Library’s Makerspace features a digital arts studio, computers, laptops, digital cameras and lighting for photography and film. A library card is required to book some of these spaces.

Living Arts Centre
The Art Hub at the Living Arts Centre features a visual arts studio, kilns, pottery wheels, glass studio, wood studio, textiles studio, photography studio and dance studio.

Meadowvale Theatre
The Art Hub at the Meadowvale Theatre features performing arts space and equipment in the Theatre.

The Art Hub at the Small Arms Inspection Building is an open and collaborative environment for artists.
South Common Community Centre
The Art Hub at the following location is currently under redevelopment for renovations and new additions.
There are no classes available at the Art Hub at this location until further notice.
When re-opened there will be access to a visual arts studio, for painting, drawing, photography and sewing.
